Sadly I did not make a post when our dog, Cody turned one..... Really, he is lucky to be alive. He got out of our gate last week, and to Ben's extreme disappointment, we found him. The boys love him and he is a beautiful dog, but he's not the smartest or most obedient dog. We were/are hoping that since he's technically not a puppy anymore that he will outgrow some of his rottenness. We did have a little accident yesterday - he cut his paw on a piece of metal. Lots of blood, a trip to Antigua, a nice cone hat, and $100 later he's on the mend. Ohh my! I do feel badly for him, he just lays around and doesn't want to put pressure on his sore paw, but it sure has been nice not having to keep such a close eye on him! Don't have to worry about the trash for a little while at least.
In other, more important news - My baby is going to be 4 next week - CRAZY! It really is hard for me to believe that Caleb is getting so big! He is such a sweet, snugglely, fun little boy. It is sad for me to move past the baby/toddler years. (sniff, sniff) On to bigger and better things, right? More on the birthday boy next week!
